Silverado 1500 LTZ
The Silverado packs a punch from factory - with incredible power, comfort and towing capabilities - only to let down by a shocking GVM of 3,300kg. Weighing in at 2,540kg*, you’re only left with a carrying capacity of 760kg. Four adults, a decent van on the back, and a full tank of fuel and you're pretty well overloaded. If you're wanting to build a capable Silverado, you have to consider a GVM Upgrade. With four options available, we'll have something that will suit what you're trying to achieve.
Increase your GVM to 3,650kg giving you a new payload of 1,107kg and retain your LTZ-4.5T towing. If done pre-registration your GCM will be increased to 8,150kg. Rear axle increased from 1,724kg to 1,926kg.
